This Privacy Policy explains how Dorado Supply Chain Advisors (“Dorado,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit doradosupplychain.com, create or use an account, or interact with services made available through the site.
Information we collect
Account and authentication information
If you create an account with email and password, we collect your email address and authentication records. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are not available to Dorado in readable form. If you sign in through LinkedIn, we may receive your LinkedIn account identifier and profile information authorized by you, such as your name, email address, and profile image. Supabase stores authentication users and linked identities on our behalf.
Session and technical information
The site stores Supabase session information in your browser so you can remain signed in. Supabase and our hosting provider may process technical information needed to provide and secure their services, including IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and authentication events. GitHub states that it logs visitors' IP addresses when they visit a GitHub Pages site for security purposes.
Embedded video information
Pages on this site include videos embedded from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced domain. Loading or interacting with a video connects your browser to Google or YouTube, which may receive technical information and use cookies or similar technologies under Google's own policies.
Information you submit
When you submit the project-inquiry form, we process the inquiry type, contact information you provide (which may include email addresses or phone numbers), and message through a Supabase Edge Function and deliver it to Dorado's Slack workspace. The site does not store a separate copy in its application database.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure user accounts.
- Provide access to customer and partner services.
- Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and protect the site and its users.
- Comply with law and enforce applicable agreements.
We do not currently operate our own advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
How we share information
We may share information with:
- Supabase, which provides authentication and account infrastructure.
- LinkedIn, when you choose LinkedIn sign-in.
- GitHub, which hosts the public site through GitHub Pages.
- Slack, which receives project inquiries for Dorado's team.
- Google and YouTube, which provide the embedded videos.
- Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or address fraud and security.
- A successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the site. Browser session information remains until it expires, is cleared, or you sign out. Our providers maintain their own retention practices.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can sign out to remove the active Supabase session from your browser. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
To make a privacy request, contact your existing Dorado representative or use the business contact channel through which you communicate with Dorado.
International processing
Dorado and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws from your country of residence.
Children
This business-to-business site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Third-party policies
Third-party services handle information under their own terms and policies. Review the privacy policies of Supabase, LinkedIn, Slack, Google, and GitHub.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date above.
